Daniel Figueroa: Cuscatlán Campus and Director of Paradigm Ministries (Young Adults Ministry)

Daniel was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador, on February 3, 1988, into a Christian home. Jesus and His Word were a daily part of his life as well as his church attendance. At age 7, Daniel gave his life to Jesus. He understood that, even though he had grown up in church, he was a sinner and needed to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

At age 18, he began college, studying International Relations in San Salvador. His faith was tried as he faced life as a young man who did not have a strong relationship with God. Many poor decisions brought negative consequences to his life. But God got his attention and Daniel recommitted his life to Jesus. Midway through college, God used Psalms 73:28 to call him into ministry. Daniel said “Yes” and determined that the passion of his life would be to live for God’s glory and fulfill His plan. Daniel’s first ministry was to youth. After college, he attended the Word of Life Bible Institute in Queretaro, Mexico. It was there where he met his wife, a brave and committed young lady willing to serve Lord in El Salvador. Daniel and Montserrat were married in 2014. That same year, they returned to El Salvador and Daniel continued further Biblical and Ministerial studies in the Vida Nueva Baptist Seminary. In 2016, Daniel was invited to work for the Seminary.

Daniel has served as the Hacienda Campus Pastor and the Director of the Paradigm Ministries. When the Hacienda and Hotel Campuses were fused into Campus Cuscatlán, Daniel became the Cuscatlán Campus Pastor. Montse also works for Good News in Action as the Mission Trip Coordinator. Daniel and Montse have a daughter, Aly born in February 2019, and a son, Esteban, born in January 2021.
