Marco Umaña

Miralvalle Campus pastor and director of graphic design

Marco was born on February 12, 1990, in San Salvador in a Christian home and grew up in his parent’s Christian Camps ministry. His parents were a great influence on him and were a big part of the reason why he would go into full-time ministry when he was older. He received Christ at the age of 6 through a chat he had with his mom, but it wasn’t until he was 19 years old that he really had a personal encounter with God and from that point on decided to live a life that would please Him. At that time, he came to Vida Nueva, to their college student ministry.

Marco married Jackie on December 20, 2014, and since that day his desire to serve God full time has only grown. In 2016 Marco came on staff with Vida Nueva as a Graphic Designer and Audiovisual Producer, using all his creative talents and university degree training. As time progressed, he worked with university age students (2014), became the Miralvalle Associate Campus pastor (2016) and is now the Miralvalle Campus Pastor. Marco and Jacquie have two children, Nicolas y Ana Laura.
